When Jeep invites you to a 2 day hall pass to try out its new lineup of toys in the Austrian back country of Spielberg, you don’t say no. On road and off road adventures, woods, rocky trails, Sun, rain, and amazing scenery were on the menu. After all, a mud bath is always good for the skin, especially if you’re driving the brand new Jeep Wrangler,
The jeep wrangler has always been for the curious, the brave and the unstoppable. For those who are born to be wild, and dare to discover new paths along the way; Engineered to master the most challenging off-road tracks, Jeep Wrangler is the result of more than seventy-five years of leadership in the development of 4×4 systems. but for the past 7 years, worldwide sales have escalated by nearly 600%. How did jeep do it?
By giving its new urban customers all they want and more, by creating a connection between communities, Urban jeepers & Adventure seekers. A mix of wild and tamed like never been done before. Jeep managed to position the wrangler as an off road champion and a unique vehicle for everyday urban adventures.
Redesigning an icon is never easy, especially if you’re holding on to years of legacy. What was once a solution to a military issue was never meant to be an accessible daily drive for consumers.
Jeep Wrangler has been completely renewed while remaining true to itself, with legendary off-road capabilities, authentic Jeep styling and advanced technology features. The fourth generation Jeep Wrangler is offered in three different trim levels in the Middle East: Sport, Sahara and Rubicon – all available in two- or four-door configuration, and will be available in 10 different exterior colours (my favorite being the Sting Gray) its new exterior design is bold and rugged with a wide stance and lowered beltline with larger windows for better outward visibility, especially out on extreme trails.
The Jeep design team gave the legendary seven-slot grille a more modern look with the custom Magneti Marelli headlights, paying homage to the legendary CJ model.
New lightweight, high-strength aluminum doors are easily removable now, and the easy-to-use Sky One-Touch power top strengthens allows occupants to retract the full-length open canvas roof with the push of a button (20 sec even while moving)
It will join two additional roof configurations: a new Zipperless Premium Sunrider soft top and a lighter and easy-to-use Freedom Top, a removable, three-panel hard top.
The Zipperless Premium Sunrider soft top has been improved, its new design helps to quieten wind noise and allows for easier access to partial and fully open top positions.
The hard top features an easy to use three-piece structure that has been improved with the introduction of lighter Freedom panels and improved latches that enable quicker removal and installation of the hard top.
The all-new Jeep Wrangler Jeep offers different windshield and top solutions that allow customers to choose multiple configuration possibilities. Also offering body-colored sport bars, which are welded to the body and feature integrated grab handles.
The interior of the new Jeep Wrangler combines authentic styling & functionality in addition to a more stylish and comfortable cabin, thanks to the use of high-quality materials and finishes, equipped with the latest in infotainment platforms. They did also keep the “oh Shit” handle passenger side.
The new Wrangler can be equipped with fourth generation UconnectTM. The system allows the driver to control many onboard features, including climate and audio, directly through the 7 inch touch screen display, resulting in additional safety while driving. The new generation UconnectTM system also offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features for hands-free phone, navigation and voice texting.
The 3.6-litre V6 Pentastar, delivering 285hp @ 6,400 rpm and 347 Nm of torque @ 4,100 rpm is standard for the middle east with the new eight-speed automatic transmission to optimize engine output while delivering smooth, efficient power at highway speeds and feature Stop-Start (ESS) technology. No manual transmission for the region
It was engineered to provide a broad torque band with a focus on low-end torque – an essential trait a vehicle with extreme off-road performance levels such as the Wrangler.
Two four-wheel drive systems are available. shift on the fly technology which allows for shifting between 2WD and 4WD High range at speed up to 72km/h.
In normal driving conditions, Selec-Trac operates in two-wheel drive (2WD) and transfers 100 percent of engine torque to the rear axle.
The Trac-Lok limited-slip rear differential provides extra torque and grip during slippery, low-traction situations, such as driving over sand, gravel, snow or ice.
Truly, The most capable jeep ever, the Rubicon models provide additional off-road prowess and are equipped with the Rock-Trac 4×4 system, featuring a two-speed transfer case with 4.0:1 low-range gear ratio and front and rear heavy-duty next-generation Dana 44 axles and Tru-Lok electric front- and rear-axle lockers to tackle the most extreme off-road trails.
The standard equipment also includes a front and rear axle ratio of 4.10.

Jeep still offers the undisputed off-road champion, with much more than a facelift. The New Jeep wrangler delivers the highest levels of comfort and handling for everyday use, while still staying true to its rugged roots. It preserved it’s authenticity after 75 years of modifications and customization. And If you were to ask me to describe what jeep is, I would say:
